So many things factor into your decision when finding the right florals for your big day. Things like season, florist, color scheme and over all budget play huge rolls into your floral design. In this blog we will go over a few tips in helping you find your perfect wedding florals!

This might be an obvious one but having your floral expectations match the season in which you are getting married is very important! Make sure your floral inspiration matches the season in which those blooms bloom. The last thing you want is to get humbled by a florist when she tells you it's going to be hard (and expensive) to get gerber daisy's in December. Getting florals in season also saves money since many places will have them available!

Spring: tulips, dasiys, peonies

The word no one wants to thinking about when planning your dream wedding day but something that unfortunately is very important, Budget. WeddingWire saw that most couples spent anywhere between $700-$2,500 on florals and some spends as much as $4,000 or more. According to The Knot's survey, the average cost of wedding flowers in 2021 was $2,300.


 Real florals aren't cheap but they give your entire wedding day an elevated look and feel just by having real florals. You are also paying for a specialist to put everything together for you, knowing it will look great! If there is two things I can recommend not skipping out on, it's photography and florals!


If real florals just aren't in the budget, no worries, silk finished florals are a great option as well. I suggest finding a brand you like and sticking to that single brand for all the floral arrangements. This will ensure a more cohesive look to all of your arrangements! Satin ribbon, big bouquets and over the top arrangements will give your silk florals an elevated feels without the elevated cost.
